Nunki Labs

ENGINEERING · ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE · SPACE SYSTEMS

An independent engineering lab in the Carpathian Mountains — at the crossing of twenty years of observational astrophysics, space surveillance software and modern AI. We build things that run on the edge: on-device AI platforms, sovereign agent systems, and data-reduction pipelines trusted in the European SST ecosystem.

ANDROID · ON-DEVICE AI

Engram

A local AI platform for Android: a LiteRT-LM engine running entirely on the phone, a long-term semantic memory (photos, tags, temporal search), an agent with tools, and a family of mini-apps — Vision, Voice, Summarizer, Memory. Optional OpenAI-compatible cloud models, opt-in.

PYTHON · AGENTIC FRAMEWORK

ExecAI

A modular, sovereign, memory-driven AI agent: four backends (Ollama, llama.cpp, DashScope/Qwen, DeepSeek), hybrid RAG memory with automatic distillation, hardened file tools, context-overflow protection and graduated safety modes. 100% offline-capable, MIT.

SPACE TRACKING · IN PROGRESS

OpenSatTrack

An open-source optical satellite-tracking platform, currently under development. Documentation and source code will be published as the project takes shape.

> The Forge

GitLab · self-hosted in the Carpathians

Code, kept close.

Every project lives on a GitLab instance hosted here, next to the observatory: Engram, ExecAI, the space-surveillance notes and the tools behind this site. No cloud account, no lock-in — the forge is part of the lab.

> The Lab

Nunki Labs is the engineering practice of Pierre-Guillaume Sprimont — astrophysicist, senior software engineer and SSA/SST expert. The lab operates from Pietreni (Vâlcea, Romania), with two decades of collaborations across Belgium, Italy, Spain and the European space sector.

Everything published here runs first on our own hardware — a self-hosted GitLab, local AI servers, on-device inference. If it works in the Carpathians, it works anywhere.
